Hay all.
Its been a while since I've written a journal entry.. So here I am.
Whats going on creatively??
As some may have seen i'm working on a Star Wars Rebel Commando costume.
I wanted to put it together with a modern twist, almost up to date with the new film, but set 10 years or so before.
By Adding armour in my mind it turns t a bit more special forces. A bit like navy Seal devgru teams.
Other than the Commando kit ive been working in a casual every day jacket, turning jt into an X wing Pilot jacket, adding some available patches and having 3
Custom made especially for it. Eventually it will be part of a costume..
Stay tuned for more on that.
Personal world..
I've been working mu arse if for my own business and spending tome with the mrs.
Not all bad there.

Yo watchers!..
Just a general whats gong on in my world of late..
Costuming..
Bought a few more things for my Spartan Costume including, Helmet and Leather Spartan Pants "Spardo's" (undies, briefs, whetever you call them where you are in the world...very kinky!)
Pics up when I get them!..
Ive decided to buy a helmet as the one im making doesnt sit right no matter what i do!.
The Shield has had a coat of resin, only 5 more to go!
Oh and the important one, Ive decided i may not go to the EXPO in May, this is due to a few commitments with my best mate and his Motorbike Racing (im his Mechanic/Photographer..

Sadly with work i havnt had the time.. i want to try a few ideas out but havnt the skill with photoshop to make them happen..
Life,
Still crusing along ok, works a bit weird at the mo, sill single, missing riding my VFR as the weather hasnt been good for riding,but im working out alot, eating well and having fun with my good mates!
Cant complain really!

Go tell the Spartans

Well my Avatar RDA Kit has been shelved for now because of funding and my new costume idea for May's MCM expo in London..
Some of you may have seen my pics ive put up, its going to be a Spartan Costume from the film 300, Based around Dilios (as I look more like him...)
Currently working on the Shield all 36 inches of the thing...its Heaowge!
Next up is the Helmet, Sword and scabbard, Vambrace's, Grieves then Cape, and the "spardo's" (leather pants) are being worked on by a good friend of mine!
Oh and of course....Working out.

Avatar Costume RDA Build

So ive decided to restart my RDA Secops Trooper Kit,
Esentially my aim is to finish it, to do that I need to:
Obtain new fatigues. Im going with a different Camo to Cadpat. one thats a bit closer in tone and not Overly green. I will also need to midify the shirt not to be as "modern Warrior" as most combat shirts are nowdays. Reverce engineer as it where.
Redesign and Build the Rebreather pack, Possibly out of Plasticard, I am also tempted to test a small pump to add airflow to the mask.
Come up with someway to replicate the "Vicegrip" pistol holster for my Movie replica Pistol.
Design and Make the Grenades. (One frag, One incendiary type) Once I've made them I can cast up more if needed.
Obtain a new face plate for the rebreather, My mask is very used from the previous owner an the face plate is scratched to buggery.
Obtain new straps for the rebreather, The mask i bought did not come with any head straps, so I need to get these.
Design and Make the Armor vest, now in the Folm there is atleast 2 variations of armor, Quaritches front opening armor, and wainfleets type which is side opening, im going for the side opening type.
As its completely made for the film im going to need to either select a body armor vest from real life i can modify or come up with the lattern myself, ive already started a paper model of the vest.
So thats whats on the cards for the forseeable future..

Model's

Soooo...I tryed my hand at model photography lastnight..
What a laugh, such a good shoot, and my lovly friend Kris photographs soooo well.
it was a case of we both needing practice and me mainly wanting to try my hand at Photographing a Model, she had a few ideas, i had a few ideas, and we kinds threw it all together.
Out of the 144 odd pics i took i have to say i like a good 2/3rds of them!
Soooo happy with the results.
A bit of editing and hay presto i get results like the ones you see on here.
